Recycling Lives

mck are currently involved in Recycling Lives, a homeless shelter in Preston. The idea of the project is to give the homeless a second chance by providing them with a bed in return for working in the Recycling Warehouse. The project consists of approx 4000sq ft of warehouse, retail, office, accommodation and incubator units for start up businesses.

Planning permission was granted in June 2006 and works began on site in mid February and are set to be completed by Christmas 2008.
